Our story began in 1996 when we were founded by Brett Kappes and Brian Grenier. Initially, we started as PC Gamers, a small store located in an 800 Square Foot space on South Dale Mabry. We specialized in buying, selling, and trading the hottest computer games of the day. From Duke Nukem to Quake, we were the go-to destination for gamers looking to buy, sell, or trade their games. We even offered rental services and a LAN room for gamers to play head-to-head games like Command & Conquer and Red Alert.
In 1997, Brian left the business, and Brett rebranded the company as PCGenerations. We shifted our focus to become the premier location to buy the latest technology, offering a wide range of computer components and accessories.
However, our journey didn't stop there. In 2004, we rebranded again, this time focusing on high-end custom desktops and business-to-business sales. We relocated to a new location on South Dale Mabry and expanded to open new locations in Carrollwood and Brandon.
Today, as Performance Computer Group, our primary focus is on providing unparalleled customer service, expertise, and a wide range of computer components, accessories, and custom desktop solutions.
